I took my US Thanksgiving holidays to travel to Quebec. Though I was there in March 2007, I was excited to visit Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City. This time I was travelling with Christine and Carleton. The plan was to have Montreal as the base, then off to Ottawa as day trip, and then ski at Mt Tremblant and at last visit Quebec City. However, plan had changed since we found out that there will be no snow in Tremblant. We changed our itinerary to spend 2 nights in Ottawa instead. Montreal was a blast. I did get a chance to spend more time in local hangouts, and finally got into Notre Dame. We were then off to Ottawa on a sunny day. Quebec City was a re-discovery trip where I learned most of the French Canadian history in the French way. |
