Last day of February 2009, we headed up Mailbox. Starting early at 8am, we set foot on the trail finding it relativelt clean and easy to hike on, compared to the usual wet and muddy condition.

Lots of snow was found once past 3000 feet elevation. As we approached tree line, wind was blowing very strong. At this point, Nicole, Jil and Em (with Mosey) turned back concerning the gusty wind. Chris and I continued to go up and reached the peak. It was fiercely gusty up there, where snow crystal was blew off by the wind, and hit our face hard. After a few picture at the peak, we head down to join the ladies, and started the descent.
