There are certainly more than enough knots in the world that
we can learn. However, to make use of them efficiently, you
need to practise, and actually make them practical to use.
Here I compiled a list of 8 basic knots, some of which I've been using
since I was a cub scout. Practically, I use everyone of them in every
camping trip.
