I must have been in Ottawa for about over 10 times. But this time, it felt differently, why ?
Carrying the curiosity of the local history, Ottawa suddenly becomes the focal of the Canadian Government history. The most
beautiful place we visited was inside the Parliament building, but from this beautiful place, I also saw one of the most ironic
scenery for a nation's capital. From the Parliament, looking north across the river, there lies a paper factory where pumping
presumably steam to the backdrop of the Parliament Hill of Canada. Should the National Capital Commission doing something ?
As for museums, we hit the Mint and the Currency museum, and C&C visited the National Gallery. We also took the picture of Carleton
University for Carleton, at night.
And for some reasons, I started looking into the local aspects of the city, from architecture to favourite local restaurants. I think
I can live there. Oh, .. hold on, how about recreation ? Here comes my answer, Gatineau park, lies just 14km from Ottawa provides lakes,
small mountains, and different outdoors activities. I was amazed and unexpectedly accepted that there are much more to do here than I thought.
