Fall has official started in Washington, but perhaps we could still squeeze it one last dry hike ... I hope so.
Smelling through the pine trees in Mt Baker. We popped out to the open pass, where blueberries were just having the best
bloom of their offsprings. We of course could not resist but to start picking off all the good stuff. Most were at the perfect
sweetness.
As the perfect day went by, we reached at the bottom of Park Butte, where Baker was not to be seen, cloud in and out, but never
moving away from the peak. We continued the last stretch up to the fire lookout, waited for about 20 min, whala.... Here it is.
Mission Accomplished, a beautiful picture with a clear Mt Baker behind me.
Alpne blueberries ... can't resist!
More ... they are absolutely sweet.
First sight of Railroad up
Crossing here was fun, ... keep it swinging.
Looks like suddenly we are at a Mid-west wheat field.
Darn it, no luck to see Baker.
Maybe we should go up higher ...
Still ...
Finall, ..breaking out from the cloud.
Yes, affirmative, it is a glacier indeed.
At the Park Butte Fire Lookout
Full Monty Baker!
... I m intersted in modelling, dont you see it in me , LOL!
