Finally, after a crazy long drive. We arrived at Marrakesh. Immediately into town, we could feel the metropolitan hype.
Cars were honking, streets were flodded with people, vendors, kids.
One thing I noticed, locals were not shy to come to you, I mean tourists, to ask for money in return selling you something you
dont really need. We were walking around the big market square for only 1 minute. We got approached by over 10 times by
10 different vendors. Snake charmers, gypsies, music performers, story telling old men, tattooing women, lots of lots of whoever
they were.
Other than that, we stayed in the madina, the old part of town. We liked the old town feel, and the alleys, and the people and the
way they live their non high-tech ways was fun to experience.
