It is the mysterious illusion that attracted me to go to visit Stonehenge. How did they build it ?

I have to book a tour in order to get inside the circle and be close to the stones. General public tour only allow you to walk on a path around the Stones, and observe them from about 50ft away. If you want the same upclose experience, research with different tour company where they organize tours. These tours start usually super early in the morning or late in the evening.

Walking between the stones, I felt so overwhelmed as these stones are big, big enough to crash you in a second. As the guide explained, they had to transport these 50-ton stones from about miles away, even with modern technology, it will take a lot of planning.

Needless to say, everyone on the tour was wondering what kind of ceremonies they were hosting back in time, how and what ? How many people died because of this ? Why ?

It was speechless for me afterall. I captured about 200 pictures here. Enjoy them here, and book your tour to Stonehenge.
