Just a short day trip to Brighton, a beach town on the south coast of England. It was about an hour train ride from
Central London. A short walk from the train station brought you on the beach.
I was lucky to visit on a quiet day, kind of breezy. Only a few people were on the beach, not sun-bathing, just resting.
I strolled along the pebble beach for a while, and sat down for a snack.
Brighton Pier is a giantic structure built where about 100 metres into the ocean. They have an game arcade, restaurants and lots of
souvenir shops.
White Stuff ! Isn't it a little racist ?
Ahhh.... can't beat being on a beach town when it was sunny like this.
The beach is about 3 miles long.
Not a sand beach, ... it's a pebble beach!
The town is very clean, hasn't seen this on a beach town.
Wherever it has water, ...the british gotta have their sailing clubs, right ?
An old man enjoying his alone time fishing on the pier.
Zoomed out ... .
Brighton Pier, ... they built an arcade on a pier stretch along about 100 metres out into the water.
Some of the buildings on the pier.
This moment .....
If they name this place the same 1000 years ago, I don't think the owner's head will stay on long.
