My trip started with 2-hour delay at Vancouver Airport due to a battery problem. This delay caused me to miss
my connection to Amsterdam at Chicago. United re-booked me to Amsterdam via London Heathrow. However I refused
to go through London Heathrow again based on my last terrible experience there. I then jumped on a flight to Paris,
and got a flight coupon, which would allow me to transfer from Paris to Amsterdam on Air France.
The Paris fight was quite comfortable. It arrived on time, and allowed me enough time to go through immigration, and
re-check-in at Air France. I received my boarding pass, went through security and proceeded to the gates without any
problem. By the time they were calling for boarding, I was there to lineup. Guess what? I was denied at the gate.
Why ? Because the flight coupon wasn't stamped. Feeling frustrated, I watched them close the gate without me onboard.
The agent from Air France was calling United, supposedly, for a telefax confirmation. After 35 minutes of wait, I just felt
this was going nowhere, unless I went to United Counter to get the "stupid" coupon stamped myself.
It took me another 15 minutes to get to the United Terminal via the shuttle bus. It only took me 1 minute to re-tell the story
and convince the United agent to stamp my coupon. So another 15 minutes to get back to the Air France Terminal, I re-checked in
one more time, through security one more time. And finally, I boarded the flight to Amsterdam. A total of 4 hours extra wait, it's all
because of a stupid "stamp".
Foggy in Vancouver the day that I left. Bad Luck!
The flight that I were being denied because of the unstamped coupon.

I met up with the Gang at the Copenhagen Airport in the late evening. We went out for dinner
at a local pub, serving beer and burger. We then hit "Rosie & McGee's", a local pub that is very close to our
hotel - Grand Hotel. We stayed there till 3:30am.
We went to Malmo, Sweden on the second day. It was just a 30-minute train ride to cross Oresund, the channel that
seperates Denmark and Sweden. Malmo was a very neat city. We had lunch at a restaurant and we shopped around town.
We went back to Denmark by 6pm, and were determined to go out for the rest of the evening. We hit "the Australian Bar" in town,
which turned out to be a pool hall, to celebrate "the Australian Day". Afterwards, we had Chinese food at the Restaurant
Shanghai. We had our Danish Chinese fusion spring rolls. We moved on to the pub next to Vega. It was where a very interesting
Danish local kept asking us to join her to dance under the awfully distributing 1960s rock music.
We then go on to our highlight of this trip, clubbing at Vega, a 5-storey high lounge/club. We started on the top floor where
it played hip-hop and rock music. We danced for about 3 hours, and we went downstairs where they played Disco/Techno Alternative
in a very funky setup. We stayed till almost 4:00am.
