It was a very nice weekend getaway at New York City. 75°F (~25°C) sunny day. I started my weekend with my friend, Syung at Balthazar Restaurant.
After brunch, we walk down Broadway through Chinatown, then to the financial district. We catched the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. Lineup wasn't
that bad, it only took us about 30 min, but the annoying part is the security check. It was worse than the airport's.
We eased out our late afternoon enjoying our coffee and the sunset at Seaport. We then walk through Ground Zero and up to NYU and St. Mark's area. There
were tons of small Japanese restaurants. We picked on that serves Japanese BBQ - Yakiniku. Food was good. We then met up with Syung's friends and headed to
a Lounge, Catwalk around 35th St / Fifth Ave. We spent a few hours chilling out there.
We had our brunch at a cafe called Banc Cafe on Third Ave/ 30th St. It is a Lounge/Bar restaurant whose decor is really interesting. We also discovered
other Bar/Lounge restaurant that opened for brunch. It was around Third Ave / 28th St. Following lunch, we headed towards Times Square, looped to Rockefeller to
see the big Christmas Tree. And then we went to see "The Producers" show at St. James Theatre. Tony Danza played Max Bialystock.
We ended the night at Hooters, having wings and watching a NFL game, NY Giants vs Philly Eagles.
