It was a cloudy and rainy day. Our car couldn't even make it up to the trailhead parking lot because of the packed
ice and snow. We had to hike an extra kilometre to get to the trailhead.
A few Burnaby Outdoor Club members and I went up to the Elfin Lakes, Diamond Head area in the Garibaldi Park.
It was a foggy day to begin with. Snow wasn't even deep enough to snowshoe on in the trailhead. But anyways
we put them on and started our uphill section.
On the way, there were not much to see except the foggy weather. However, even with this weather we saw a lot of
other outdoor enthusiasts going up to Elfin Lakes on skis, groups after groups.
