Stan was so hyped up to get to the Tusk. So we went for it. We hiked 9km to the Garibaldi Lake, and camped
there for one night, and will do the Black Tusk the next day.
It was a beautiful day at the lake, warm sun and cool water. Almost everyone of us dipped in and freshened up.
And of course, we took a nap zzzZZZZ.
In the next morning, we went through Taylor Meadows and headed to the Tusk. Lots of beautiful flowers. We brought
our freshly made lunch to the bottom of the Tusk. Good views with good food. On the way up, we met a family of
four, parents and 2 girls. They were only 4 and 5. Amazingly, all 4 of them went up so far up that we had diffculty
to catch up. Finally, mom and the 3 year old stopped, and the dad brought the 5 year old further up.
Sikee and Stan were complaining that it would be too dangerous to hit the top. And I convinced that first to traverse
across this patch of loose and sharp rocks, and then to climb the chimney. Sikee stopped and made a comment that
it was so stupid to climb up the chimney. A few minutes, he climbed it, becayse Sabrina made it up. Watch the videos.
It was windy on the top, and actually quite cold. We didn't stay long before we head down. We passed through the same
we came up, and it was a very good experience for us.
