Got the crew together on this long weekend to do some paddling. The boring part was to wait for the ferry.
BC Ferries need to do something about this. Anyways, we got off at Langdale, and drove to the nearby
grocery store to stock up our supplies. Salmon, soups, ....fresh eggs, ya de ya de, all fresh. Yes, we
didn't need to carry, our kayak would do that for us. I even threw in my 10 pound dutch oven.
Launching our kayaks into Sechelt Inlet, the sky turned cloudy and windy. The inlet was getting quite choppy.
We paddled about 2 hours to get to our secret camp sites. No one was there before we arrived.
A few hours later, another couple paddled a triple, a 3-seater kayak. Guess what, that middle seat was for their dog.
The next day, we paddled north and explored an abandoned Mission camp. Honestly, it was quite creepy.
We saw a couple seals playing around us and nothing much was special. It started raining all day.
The day after, the sun came out when we paddle back. It was gorgeous but it's very windy.
