The day after thanksgiving was the day to burn off the fat! My good friend Franklin came back from NYC for Thanksgiving celebration including this snowshoeing trip up Good Creek. We had a lot of snow prior to Thanksgiving. The snowstorm brought us about 3 feet of new snow in the nearby mountains.

Gold Creek is along a logging road leading to Kendall Peak. We took the trail and slowly walked up the valley. I mean slowly because we just ate too much the night before.

The snow was fresh and dry, so dry that we felt it was too dry to play snowball fight. We spent a few hours on the snow and decided we had burnt enough energy. A pleasant short trip.
