Here I am in Taipei for a few days to prepare for my climb at Yushan in central Taiwan. Taipei gave me a different impression from my expectation. Local people are extremely nice, I find. Maybe because I speak their language well. Food is awesome and exceptionally affordable for a city of this size, 12 million people strong.

To sum up, really, there aren't much must-see. But rather, a must-see should be a small town called 'Danshui' north of Taipei, about 45 min ride on the subway. On the way back, I also stopped by 'Beitou' for a hotsprings retreat !
