My original plan is to hike the top 3 highest peak in Huangshan, but weather did not allow me to do so. I did my best to tour as much as possible
up at Huangshan. I arrived up at Huangshan at about 11:30am. Weather was OK at the moment, I can see some clouds and views from the top is very beautiful.
Windy was gusting at high speed. I met a French couple, and all 3 of us hiked on "Beginning to Believe" peak, then to "Beihai" area.
We then continued to "Cloud Dispelling Pavillon" (aka PaiYuenTin). It was an awesome view from there. We did see clouds floating and moving along the ridges.
As weather was getting worse, we continued to visit the "Grand Canyon". We had to hike down a few flights of jaw-breaking staircases. At the moment, wind was
at its highest speed.
We split up after that as I had to move on to finish my ciruit on Huangshan. I continued to "Bright Summit Peak". It was pouring when I got there. From there,
I just ran through a few more sites in the rain. Although not much to see except deep fog and rain. I managed to go by "Turtle Peak", "Ladder on the Clouds",
the base of the "Lotus Peak", finally took the Jade Screen Cablecar down.
I then met up with a guy from Fujian Province. We went to the Huangshan City and visited the "Old Street" together. We ended up at the "No. 1 Restaurant" to have
dinner.

One more hour to go.
From Huangshan Train Station to the Main Gate.
We stopped at the some teahouse. There were a few teas that only grow in Huangshan Region.
We tried and bought some of the famous tea, "MaoFeng".

On the way up to the "Cloud Valley" Cable Car Station.
Ticketing Center at the "Cloud Valley" Station.
Ticket indicates that how far we were going up.
Don't worry, the cable car was made by Swiss!
Arriving at the top by cable car, we realized that people were actually walking up instead of taking the cable car.
At the "Beginning to Believe" peak, locks were commonly hanged by loved couples.
On top of "Beginning to Believe" peak, see how windy it was?

Workers carrying heavy loads of supplies. They didn't use the cable car.
They carried everything including building supplies, kitchen supplies, grocery, food, bedframes for the hotel on their shoulders. Hiking 3 hours from the bottom to the top. They were only paid 80¢ RMB per kg of goods. This picture showed that they carried a block of 70kg granite rock.
At the "Clouds Dispelling Pavillon"

Yes, ....It was so windy.
Stairs were built on the cliff.
Snack bar at the "Bright Summit Peak". Think about how the workers carried the supplies up here.
You have to respect the Chinese engineers who designed & built this.
At the "Bright Summit Peak".
You can hire workers to carry you around on a chair at Huangshan, for about 100 RMB for km.
At the "Ladder on the Clouds".
At the Turtle Peak....
