It's a quick sunday getaway before this year's superbowl started in the afternoon. It's been raining for days, and finally we had a bright sunny clear morning. We got to the Mt Seymour and started snowshoeing at about 11:00am. We still had a little sun at the time.

Weather was very nice, not too cold that we could stripped down to just 2 layers. It took us about 20 mins to First Lake, and from there Gan, our adventurous leader, decided to go off-trail to follow the rabbit's tracks. Ups and downs, we decided to get back to the main trail to Dog Mountain.

Greg brought a magic carpet to this trip. It was very fun sliding down any hills. A few kids borrowed the magic carpet and had a few slides on our way back.
