It's Vancouver behind me!
103 Hikes Trail No. 48 Hollyburn Mountain.

A few Burnaby Outdoor Club members and I went up the Hollyburn Mountain, through the Cypress X-country ski parking lot. At first, we doubted if there was enough snow for us to snowshoe on. We just carried the snowshoes on our backpacks and hiked up the hill for a while. Whoa !!! Blue sky and fresh snow !!

There must have been quite a bit of snow fallen the night before. We put on our snowshoes and started uphill. The trail was covered by about 4-5 inches of fresh powder.

I can't ask for any better than this morning. We didn't expect any snow and we got it. It is so different coming up Hollyburn Ridge in winter.
