It's Blowdown Pass up there
It's Outward Bound 1998 PS654. We arrived at base camp in Pemberton. We started to play some games to know about each other. And we distributed our gear and food supplies. Man, it's a lot to carry, we got only 5 guys.

We were taken to a rock climbing site beside the highway and spent half day climbing and rappeling. We were then taken to another camp next to Duffey Lake logging road. We left our camp early the next morning and ascented from 4500ft to 7200ft in 3 hours. Each of us carried a 55lb pack.

It was beautiful to see a lake, and we took the opportunity to dip in. We continued to go through the creek bed to the top of the pass. We were going to spend 2 night here. We managed to summit Gott Peak the next day, and explored some nearby peaks.

We got back down to the same lake, and routed to the east of it. We hit a valley full of boulders and took us a while to navigate through that. It was very dangerous going downhill with a heavy pack on the boulder. We gathered and slept at the cabin. The next morning, snow fell and we hiked up another peak. It was windy and cold. All of us felt like we were going up Mt. Everest. But after all, the sun broke out the sky, and we got back down safely. Mission well accomplished!
